This year I had a difficult time securing seeds. Until now, I had been purchasing F1 seeds (First and Final) from Vietnam. When I called to purchase the seeds as the sowing season was approaching, I was told that they were not being produced this year.<\/p>\n

I called India immediately, and as I told you, there is a total shortage of other seeds in India because of the failure of GM seeds. Since genetically modified seeds had a 95% share of the market, this means that the impact will continue for some time to come.<\/p>\n

Also contacted the Central Highlands of Vietnam, but no native species. No Myanmar. Laos was also no luck. Thinking that it would not grow well, I made arrangements to receive a small amount of native species from the Mikawa region of Japan, and was told that native species from Thailand were still available.<\/p>\n

I have done a lot of research on species, and over the next few issues I would like to tell you about the global situation surrounding species. We have learned that species, the source of life, are in a very critical situation.<\/p>\n
