I had never heard of the term "fringe" until six months ago. I didn't know about fringe until half a year ago.

I saw this type of work in many countries when I traveled and walked around the world. It seems that most of the people who are good at this kind of work are women.

The women of Battambang have something in common, and at the workshop, the process began easily. Tom, pictured here, is a mother of four children, and is now working diligently on a fringe, just as she does when she ties her daughter's hair.

The fibers are unraveled and separated. It is a tedious and tedious process. I am too impatient to imitate it. ...... (^^;)
