Forest soap, trial and error
* The image shows the soap department for sensitive skin and babies. At first, we thought of soap as a way to use cottonseed oil. Since we actually started making it, we have made as many as 20 kinds. Interesting
Fringe making
The image shows fringe making by staff member Tom. I had never heard of the word "fringe" until half a year ago. Fringing is a process of braiding the ends of a scarf or scarf.
Workshop has started!
The image shows a workshop we opened on the outskirts of Battambang City. A private house that was rotting away in the jungle, covered with trees, was renovated by hand and turned into a workshop for work.
【Finally, the rainy season is in full swing.】
※The image shows a native species of Mikawa cotton growing. Waterfall squalls are finally falling from the heavens. Cambodian cotton, which does not use irrigation, is cultivated using only rainwater. This is a very rare case in the world. Trial and error continues this season
【A series of accidents involving anti-tank mines】
In August of this year, there were two accidents in Battambang caused by anti-tank mines. In both cases, a man riding a tiller was damaged and killed instantly. Unlike anti-personnel mines, which are buried just below the surface of the ground, anti-tank mines are placed about one meter below the surface. Since the objective is to destroy tanks, which are huge pieces of steel, they are not supposed to be detonated by anything more than a cultivator.
